DON’T SKIP, PLEASE I BEG YOU.

Please, I beg you — if you're reading this, don’t look away. Every second matters.

Children in Gaza are wasting away before our eyes. Starvation is not a silent death — it screams through every rib, every bone showing beneath their skin. I am a mother, and my little boy Qais is one of them. He’s just a baby, too small to endure this kind of suffering. Your donation could mean the difference between life and death. Please, help us feed Qais and the countless children who have nothing left but pain.

This famine in Gaza is not a natural disaster — it is man-made, and it is killing our children.

1. The Israeli blockade has cut off access to food, clean water, and essential supplies, turning Gaza into an open-air prison where starvation spreads rapidly.

2. Deliberate obstruction of humanitarian aid prevents food and medical supplies from reaching those in desperate need — including children like my baby boy, Qais.

3. Destruction of farmland and infrastructure from relentless bombings has made it nearly impossible for families to grow or access food.

From the depths of a grieving mother’s heart, I beg you — don’t let Qais starve to death. He’s only a child, his only crime is being born in Gaza. His little body trembles in my arms as I watch him shrink before my eyes. Please don’t look away. Please don’t let him fade into silence like so many others. Every dollar, every share, every act of compassion could save him. I am pleading with everything I have — help me keep my son alive.

PLEASE DONATE HERE

If Qais was your only child, would you leave him to face his fate alone?

DONATE HERE PLEASE

Anonymous asked:

Do you not see why people believe astrology tho??

iwilleatyourenglish answered:

so i’m a custodian.

whenever someone does something cool like shit on the bathroom floor or get blood all over a toilet, i have to close the bathroom down by blocking the doorway with a CLOSED sign.

this sign is big and bright. it says CLOSED in four languages and has a do not enter symbol. it completely blocks the doorway. the only way to enter is to look directly at the sign and either move it or climb over it.

almost every single time i shut down a bathroom so i can suit up and clean a biohazard, someone will enter the bathroom with a dead-eyed, slack-jawed expression and try to wordlessly walk past me to use a stall.

and every single time, i have to block their path and say, “this bathroom is closed. there is one directly down the hall, marked by signs. please leave,” and they either try to argue that THEY specifically should be allowed to use this one, as if they are god’s most special little guy, or express shock even though they, again, had to contend with the CLOSED sign to enter.

often, i am standing there in the middle of cleaning up bodily fluids having to firmly repeat myself. they always leave angry or confused.

anyways, you clicked this button to send me an ask about astrology:

The Title, "Why I support Darine's family" in large letters in a word bubble pointed toward a cartoon version of me. I have puffy brown hair with cat ears and light peach skin, wearing a yellow shirt and holding up a pencil. The background is a light orange with dots in a gradient, all in light complimentary colours.ALT

I'd like to share how I came to work with @drdarine.

A family in Gaza reached out, asking if I could help illustrate their story. They had seen my art supporting verified fundraisers and hoped I could give a voice to their experience.

A close-up of Darine, a young, tired but determined Palestinian woman wearing a medical coat and a pink headscarf, holding the hand of her younger sibling, a young girl with curly hair and a black shirt. Behind them, their home is partially destroyed, but they stand straight, not begging just enduring. Caption text reads: "This is a real family. Not a story, not a statistic. Just people trying to survive with dignity." The image has a soft cool green overlay.ALT

The Dawoud family shared a brief but powerful script describing their ordeal a journey of displacement, fear, and survival. Since then, I’ve had the honor of illustrating several of their stories, doing my best to capture both their pain and their resilience. You can see them here:

Love and the Shadow of the Tent

The Return to Home

Return to the Shadow of the Tent

Khaled's story

A collage-style overlay of Tumblr usernames, activists, and artists sharing Darine’s fundraiser link on their blogs, on an orange background. My hand points to a green check-mark symbol labeled "verified!". Caption text reads: "They’re not strangers; trusted voices here have shared their story. But after almost 17 months… they’re still far from achieving their goal."ALT

They are #15 on Gazavetters' list. I'm not a vetter myself, but I would also vouch for this family if the world depended on it; they are honest and respectful. I've never felt pressured or misled while working with them.

I'm in the foreground, holding out a hand toward the reader. Behind me, Darine’s family is faintly visible, now with a tiny spark of hope. There are seven family members including Darine, her mother and father, and her four siblings, the youngest two girls in front, embraced by the others. I say, ""Their strength continues to inspire me, and I hope my work helps others see them too." You don’t have to be a hero. Just share. Donate. Care. Small acts save lives." The image has a dark green border on the bottom with the QR code to the family's fundraiser and the words "Read. Share. Donate. #SaveDarinesFamily"ALT

I'm honored and humbled to work with this family. Their dignity in the face of such hardships has astounded me. I ask you all to read their story and do whatever you can to help.

Support them here ! Remember, no one is free until we are all free.

Don’t hesitate to help… your generosity today might be the light that dispels someone’s darkness, the mercy that brings life back to a heart on the verge of breaking. Don’t wait until the doors close or hope fades every moment now is precious, and every hand that reaches out makes a difference that won’t be forgotten.
